After you have created a trip in the Trip Planner, you will see a left vertical menu with "My Trip" highlighted and another beside that a mini screen showing each location on your trip. If you click on the second item in the vertical menu, labeled "Activities," a new mini screen appears with the heading "Let the Genie help you create GenieWishes for this trip!" This allows you to ask for recommendations on things to see and do at each stop on your trip. You will be asked to enter your general interests as well as the types of things you want to do at stops on your trip. Our AI technology will look at your stops and search the internet and provide recommendations for the top things to see and do at each stop on your trip.
Fill in the requested information and see the resulting recommendations that will be listed for each stop. These recommendations will also appear under the "Notes" tab for each stop.
"General Interests" are things you are interested in but may or may not be able to do on this trip. For example, you might like professional basketball or mountain climbing, but the trip may not include anything related to NBA or mountain climbing because your trip is in an area with no NBA teams or is a non-mountainous area. Or you may generally like walking, and it is likely that most stops on any trip will offer you places to walk. If those general interests are available at your stops, you will get recommendations on them.
The "What do I want to do at stops on this trip?" answers can be more specific to the trip. For example, if you are traveling to Florida, you know you can find beaches, so you could add "beaches" or "eat great fresh seafood" or "sea kayaking" to this field. It will then recommend one thing for each stop related to these more specific terms.
For now, these recommendations will be brief to give you a taste of what is possible at each stop. For example, recommendations might say, "Take a walking tour of historic downtown Charleston" or "Enjoy the white sand beaches at Sunset Beach."
If you want more recommendations, you can add more terms and try again!
